MoneyBear – Terms of Service Last updated: February 9, 2026 Effective date: February 9, 2026 These terms of service ("Terms") govern the use of the MoneyBear mobile app ("App", "Service"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. Service description 1. MoneyBear is a personal budgeting and cash flow tracking app. 2. The app allows you, among other things, to enter and manage transactions (income/expenses), planned transactions, budgets, categories, savings goals, and to set an "opening balance" (total balance on a specific date) to calculate balance forecasts. 3. The app does not provide banking services or access to your bank accounts; you enter the financial data yourself. 2. Changes to the Terms 1. We may change the Terms from time to time (e.g., legal changes, new features). 2. We will publish updated Terms on the website or in the App. 3. Continued use of the App after changes means acceptance of the new Terms. 3. Age and minors 1. The App is for general use and does not contain adult content. 2. If you are a minor, you confirm that you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the App and to take out a subscription (if applicable). 3. Using the App may require a Google account; use of that account is subject to Google's age and account rules. 4. Account and sign-in 1. The App uses a Google account for sign-in and Firebase Authentication for authentication. 2. You are responsible for keeping your Google account and device secure (e.g., screen lock, passwords). 3. If you suspect someone is using your account without authorization, notify us (support@moneybear.eu) and secure access to your Google account. 5. Free and Premium features 1. The App may include a free tier and a paid Premium ("Subscription"). 2. Premium unlocks additional app features; the exact list may change and is shown in the App. 3. When Premium is active, the App may no longer show trial or subscription prompts. 6. Free trial 1. If a free trial is offered, its duration and terms are as shown in the App and/or Google Play. 2. The trial may be limited (e.g., once per account). 7. Subscription, billing, and cancellation (Google Play) 1. Premium purchases, billing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled under Google Play rules. 2. The subscription may renew automatically unless you cancel it in your Google Play account in time. 3. We cannot guarantee refunds beyond what Google Play allows. 8. Rules for using the App You agree not to use the App in a way that: 1. violates the law or the rights of third parties; 2. attempts to breach the security of the App (hacking, malware, service disruption); 3. attempts to reverse engineer or derive the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by law. 9. User content and data ownership 1. The data you enter in the App (transactions, categories, notes, etc.) belongs to you. 2. You grant us the right to process your data to the extent necessary to provide the Service (e.g., sync trial start, verify subscription validity, display your data in the App). 10. Service reliability and changes 1. We may change, improve, or limit the App (e.g., maintenance, bug fixes, feature changes). 2. We may temporarily suspend or discontinue the App, including where necessary for security or legal compliance. 11. Not financial advice 1. The App is a tool and is not financial, investment, tax advice, or an accounting service. 2. The App's calculations and forecasts depend on the accuracy of the data you enter. You make decisions at your own risk. 12. Limitation of liability 1. The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. 2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages (e.g., lost profits, data loss, incorrect decisions) arising from: 1. inaccuracies in user-entered data; 2. interruptions of device or third-party services (e.g., Google Play, Firebase); 3. the fact that device backup/restore may copy or restore app data based on user settings. 3. Nothing in the Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law. 13. Third-party services The App uses third-party services (e.g., Google Play, Google Sign-In, Firebase). Their services may be subject to separate terms. 14. Termination 1. You may stop using the App at any time (e.g., uninstall it). 2. We may restrict or terminate access if you violate the Terms or use the App unlawfully. 3. Subscription cancellation is handled via Google Play; uninstalling the App may not automatically cancel your subscription. 15. Governing law and dispute resolution 1. The Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. 2. Disputes will be attempted to be resolved first through negotiations. 3. If you are a consumer, you may have the right to refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Committee and to use EU dispute resolution options in accordance with applicable law. 4. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it will be resolved in an Estonian court (generally Harju County Court), unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise. 16.
